I’m Chris Strange, a professional keyboard player specializing in vintage Americana, blues, country, and classic rock.

I’ve had the honor of performing live with bands like the Alpaca Gnomes, The Last Waltz Band, and various tribute acts for artists like Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and Tom Petty, as well as a residency as the house keyboardist for the "Bowieball" shows at Le Poisson Rouge in Manhattan.

These experiences have not only honed my skills across various musical genres such as folk, rock, blues, soul, and country, but they have also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of music to connect and uplift people from all walks of life.

I’m also a dedicated keyboard performance coach, with over two decades of experience helping students become learn songs faster & transform into more confident live keyboardists.

Since 2022, I've been building an original catalog of production music. These sync licensing tracks have a distinctively vintage quality, and are ideally suited for edgy, nostalgic, or period tv, movie, and streaming shows set in the 1960s - 1970s. 

I've also licensed original compositions for independent films like "Green Eyes" and "Heaven is Now", as well as network television programs such as "All My Children" and Fox Sports' "Tuf Talk", and "Inside PBC Boxing".
